About Caron
Caron is the passionate owner of Fosse Farmhouse, a boutique B&B, holiday let and family home nestled on Fosse Way near Castle Combe. Since the age of sixteen, she has been collecting vintage kitchenware and French brocante. Four decades ago she discovered this charming farmhouse and brought to life her vision of a fun, eccentric country retreat.
Caron still lives on site. She welcomes guests personally, baking traditional Wiltshire lardy cake, serving cream teas, and sharing stories about each quirky vintage find. Her home is a living treasure trove with personality at every turn.
Her hospitality and the unique character of Fosse Farmhouse have earned international attention. Caron taught Gordon Ramsay how to bake her lardy cake on his show Uncharted UK Showdown: Jurassic Coast . She has been featured on Today.com and Fosse Farmhouse and welcomed members of the Japanese imperial family according to public reports.
Fosse Farmhouse is famously known in Japan as the inspiration for the hit anime and manga Kiniro Mosaic (Kinmoza). That series has drawn thousands of guests from Japan seeking the English countryside charm portrayed on screen.
